Beverly V. Snelgrove

Beverly V. Snelgrove grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and received her Bachelor of Science degree of Science degree in Business from the University of South Carolina, with honors. She continued her education at Charleston School of Law.

After passing the South Carolina Bar, Ms. Snelgrove returned to Aiken to work with her family's law firm Johnson, Johnson, Whittle and Lacer, PA, focusing on social security disability, worker's compensation, and personal injury. She returned to Charleston in 2013, working with the Department of Social Services, sharpening her litigation skills.

Ms. Snelgrove joined Bluestein and Douglas, LLC in November 2016. She focuses on separation and divorce, custody, child support, and contempt of court. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Charleston Bar and the Children's Law Committee. She is also participating in Reading Partners Program, helping elementary school aged children with their reading skills

We are a Family Law firm, meaning we help clients with divorces, custody disputes, support matters, and other cases in Family Court. Our cases are mostly in Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley Counties, but we also have cases in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and other counties.

Collaborative Law

Both Natalie Parker Bluestein and Jane Nussbaum Douglas are certified to practice Collaborative Law. If you and your estranged spouse have talked about trying to handle your case amicably, Collaborative Law may be what you are looking for. We maintain a list of other attorneys in the area who are certified in Collaborative Law for you to give to your spouse after you have met with us, so that the case can proceed collaboratively. Mediation

Natalie Parker Bluestein is a Certified Family Court Mediator. She mediates cases for unrepresented litigants and for litigants who are represented by other counsel.
